Release of goods from customs is improved, and appeals will be considered in a day
It is proposed to review the application (declaration) received by the customs body regarding the implementation of the release of the goods and ensure the release of the goods based on it, according to the amendment proposed to the law on Customs tariff discussed at the meeting of Economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship committee of Milli Majlis.
In case of necessity to make relevant amendments to customs value for the release of the good, the customs body must provide the notification to the declarant within 24 hours from the moment the declaration is submitted to the customs body.
In other words, according to the draft, once the declarant's application to the customs body regarding the release of goods is received, the application is considered within 1 day from the time of its receipt. And goods are released by the customs body immediately after determining that the requirements have been met.
